Getting the Most out of BarCamp
BarCamps run on user-generated content — bring your cameras, recording equipment, smart phones, laptops, moleskines, pens, business cards, charging cords, and anything else that you want to. Most important, bring your enthusiasm and eagerness to learn! Yes, do interview each other, blog, record sessions and conversations, photograph, and post.
Meet new friends, introduce yourself — leave room in your pack for the cards, stickers, and the accumulation of flotsam and jetsam that comes with exchanging ideas. You may want to prepare links, slides, and other references and citations to get a session rolling.
~*Please RSVP*~ Do that here: http://barcampportland6.eventbrite.com/. Registration helps us with some logistics. The sooner you can let us know you’ll be there, the better, since we are volunteer staffed and sponsor funded. (There is no obligation to attend if you register, and no one be turned away if they don’t.)
